Tater Tot Casserole

Here is another reason to celebrate National Tater Tot Day! Whether you make them with fresh or frozen tater tots, this quick and easy dish will be everyone’s favorite. This recipe only calls for four basic ingredients!

Prep Time: (Using Frozen Tater Tots)

1 pound ground beef
1 (10.5 ounce) can condensed cream of mushroom soup
1 (16 ounce) package frozen tater tots
2 cups shredded Cheddar cheese
salt and ground black pepper to taste


Step 1

Preheat the oven at 350 Degrees F (175 Degrees C)

Step 2

Over medium-high heat place a large skillet. Once the skillet is hot cook and stir ground beef until completely browned and crumbly for about 7 to 10 minutes. Stir in condensed cream of mushroom soup, and season with salt and black pepper to taste.

Step 3

Once the cream of mushroom and beef mixture is cooked transfer the mixture to a 9x13 inch baking dish; layer the tater tots evenly on top and sprinkle with the cheddar cheese.

Step 4

Place in the preheated oven and bake until the tater tots are golden brown and hot. For about 30 to 45 minutes.

Step 5

Sprinkle some parsley, serve and enjoy.
