Spicy Grilled Shrimp
During the long Holiday Weekend you need a fast and easy recipe to prepare that is destined to be the hit at your barbecue gatherings. Turn up the heat with this spicy grilled shrimp recipe. Seasoned with garlic, coarse salt, paprika and cayenne pepper… while the Olive Oil locks in the moisture and works to bind the seasoning to the shrimp! Easy and delicious.
1 large clove garlic
1 teaspoon coarse salt
1 teaspoon paprika
½ teaspoon cayenne pepper
2 tablespoons olive oil
2 teaspoons lemon juice
2 pounds large shrimp, peeled and deveined
8 wedges lemon, for garnish
Preheat your grill at medium heat.
In a small bowl, crush garlic and salt together with a fork. Mix in paprika, cayenne and stir in the olive oil and lemon juice to form a paste.
In a large bowl, combine the mixed paste and shrimp and toss until the shrimps are evenly coated.
Lightly oil the grill grate and grill the shrimp until opaque for about 2 to 3 minutes per side. Transfer to a serving dish and garnish with some lemon wedges.
*IF you have any leftovers (hardly doubt it…lol) you can store your grilled shrimp in an airtight container inside the fridge for up to 3 days! Enjoy later warmed as-is or you can toss them in your favorite grilled shrimp salad.
